Pat Benatar won't be performing her biggest song on tour this year.
The singer and soon-to-be Rock and Roll Hall of Famer says she won't be singing "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" anymore.
The reason? The song feels inappropriate in the wake of recent mass shootings. Benatar told USA Today "I’m sorry, in deference to the victims of the families of these mass shootings, I’m not singing it".
She added "I can’t say those words out loud with a smile on my face, I just can’t."
