The city of Orange is the latest city in Southeast Texas to take steps to ban game rooms and 8-liner machines. Yesterday the first reading passed council’s vote. The second and final reading will take place later this month. This is the second time the city of Orange has addressed the issue. It failed earlier this year due to a lack of a motion from council. Other cities across the area have already voted to close game rooms and remove 8-liner machines from convenience stores.
