Burn bans have been issued all across Southeast Texas. This includes the counties of Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Newton, Jasper, Tyler, and Polk. County Judges for each of these counties will continue to visit with their fire chiefs and monitor the conditions before lifting the bans. Firefighters in Jasper County were busy yesterday battling roadside fires along Highway 63, between FM 1747 and County Road 82.
