A shooting in Newton County may be a case of self -defense. Sheriff Colton Havard says yesterday’s shooting was on County Road 4076 in Bon Wier. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Deputies located the possible shooter. An arrest has not been made as the investigation continues.
