Last month, Linkin Park released a new song called "Up From The Bottom," which will be featured on the deluxe edition of From Zero, along with two other previously unreleased songs: “Let You Fade” and “Unshatter.” On a new episode of iHeartRadio's It's Mike Jones podcast, the band's bassist Phoenix revealed how he'd like their new music timeline to go.

"In the process of writing for us, we always have a lot of stuff that just doesn't make it, you know, whether we run out of time or whether it's just not coming together how we wanted to come together," he explained about the new songs. "But with the Deluxe, ['Let You Fade' and 'Unshatter'] were two songs that we knew had a lot of potential, but we just wanted to have some more time with ... those two were sticking around, you know, at different stages of the writing of From Zero."

"From Zero itself is already a tight, shorter album," Phoenix pointed out. "It would make sense to like release some more new fun stuff, and also ... I'm not getting any younger, and I want to keep releasing new music. So let's just get stuff out tothe to the fans, and you know, let them do with it what they want or what they may. But I don't want to sit and wait a ton."

It's unclear of Linkin Park are already working on the follow-up to 2024's From Zero, but from the sounds of it they don't want to wait long to release new music. The deluxe edition of From Zero is slated for a May 16 release. They're kicking off a massive North American tour on April 26 in Austin, Texas.
