Beaumont Ward 2 City Councilman Mike Getz was involved in an altercation this past week outside a Beaumont restaurant. Councilman Getz says he girlfriend were leaving The Grill on Calder when a man confronted them and stood where he couldn’t get into his car. Getz felt threatened and punched the man in the face twice. The incident is on video. Getz has filed a police report.
