Testimony resumes this morning in the murder trial of 35-year old Zachary Kapel. He is charged
with the April 2020 shooting death of 41-year old Shane Russell Jones. The homicide occurred
in the 7700 block of Stonetown in Beaumont. The trial is in Judge John Stevens courtroom at
the Jefferson County Courthouse.
