Five Indicted For Murder

The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted two for the murder of a 16-year old girl. 25-year

old Chelsea Ann-Marie Shipp of Winnie and 22-year old Cody Lee Arnold, of Beaumont are

charged with the March 27th shooting death of Katelyn Stone. Her body was found wrapped in a

trash bag at a trailer in western Jefferson County. Both Shipp and Arnold remained jailed under

$1 million bonds.

A Port Arthur man has been indicted for murder. 45-year old Anthony McCullar Jr. is charged

with the June 7th stabbing death of Ashton Aiken. The two men were involved in an altercation

in front of BJ’s Store in the 1400 block of 8th Street in Port Arthur. Aiken died at the hospital.

Two have been indicted for murder. The Jefferson County grand jury indicted 22-year old Isiah

Charles Brewer and 17-year old Algerreau McQueen for the May 28th shooting death of 34-year

old Willie Edwards in a parking at Steelton and Fillmore in Beaumont. Witnesses say both

Brewer and McQueen shot Edwards.
