Testimony resumes this morning in Jefferson County in the murder trial of Jaquese McDaniel.
The 19-year old is accused of the June 2016 shooting death of 30-year old Christopher Gibson.
Prosecutors say McDaniel used a dating app to lure McDaniel to the 4600 block of Maddox
in Beaumont to rob him. Gibson was shot several times. If convicted, McDaniel faces up to
life in prison.
